North Church to host Financial Peace University |

North Church is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Financial Peace University education program founded by national radio host and financial guru Dave Ramsey. There will be three previews of the program hosted on July 5th at 12:30 PM and 6:00 PM and on July 26th at 6:00 PM. Dave Ramsey and the Financial Peace University specialize in helping people live debt-free. With the tools taught in this course, participants will learn how to budget their finances, eliminate their debt, and shift to a cash-based financial plan. Participants will learn how to put more of their money in their pocket for things they would like to do rather than giving it to big banks as interest payments. Enrollment in the program is only $93 and entitles the participant to lifetime membership in the FPU program. Once a person is enrolled the first time, they may enrole in and attend FPU classes anywhere in the future at no cost. New Direction for North Church |

Pastor Kevin announced a new direction for the members and regular attenders of North Church. On February 15th he told the congregation that the leading of the Lord has pointed him and the leadership of the church to restructure the present ministry by establishing a new church at the same site. Details of this plan were discussed in a church roundtable on the evening of Feb 15th. To date, this plan has been presented and approved by both the denomination and the board of North Church. A transition team has been established and the preliminary steps have already been taken. The transition team is striving to make this effort as open and well communicated as possible. Additional roundtables are in the planning stages and the church staff is always available to answer questions. To help answer questions and to keep everyone informed on the progress of the transition, a Transition Blog has been added to the site and can be accessed by clicking the link to the left.
